Y'all know that I am a coffee lover through and through. There are very few things I enjoy more in the morning than my first cup of coffee and kitten snuggles. Yes, I am aware of how much I sound like a crazy cat lady. Regardless, when the spring flowers start blooming and the days are longer, I love experimenting with different flavored coffee recipes. One of my favorite combinations is raspberry and cream! My mom used to make this combo for me and I wanted to share it with you. I have teamed up with Mr. Coffee® to share how I streamline my morning coffee routine and my raspberry cream coffee recipe! Keep scrolling down for the full recipe!
I recently got the new Mr. Coffee® Easy Measure 12 Cup Programmable Coffee Maker and let me tell you that they did a GREAT job with their new look. I love the sleek black and chrome look and how they have color coded the measuring system to keep it simple to make great coffee, so you can get on with life. It also has an illuminated freshness reminder that displays how much time has passed since brewing began and advanced water filtration with multi-stage filtration reduces impurities for better taste. The pause and serve lets you pour a cup of coffee before brewing is finished and 4-Hour shut off automatically turns off the coffeemaker when you inevitably forget and rush out the door! The Mr. Coffee® Easy Measure coffee maker is easy to use, uncomplicated, creates reliable results. It was even awarded as an Editor's Pick at the 2019 Good Housekeeping Housewares Show! I typically drink my coffee in the morning, so that means that I am also trying to feed all of the animals on our hobby farm. They are cute, but take up a lot of my time in the morning. This is why I love setting up my coffee to brew automatically the night before. All I do is use the easy measure system to get the right amount of grounds and water into the coffee maker, then use the “brew later button”
Dairy Free Raspberry Cream Coffee Recipe
After the coffee is brewed, I pour in almond milk or cream until it reaches the desired color. For me, this is typically about 1/4 cup. Check out how I make my own almond milk here.
Next, I add about one tablespoon of raspberry flavored syrup. You can make your own by reducing 1 cup of fresh raspberries with 2 tablespoons of sugar on medium heat for 15 minutes then strain out the seeds. However, I typically just purchase my raspberry syrup from the store in the coffee aisle to save time.
Next, just give it a good stir and enjoy your summer inspired Raspberry Cream Coffee!
