The 4th of July holiday is right around the corner. Many of you will probably be headed out for some fun in the sun or to a backyard BBQ with friends to celebrate Independence Day. As of now, mine and John's plan is to be riding our horses that weekend. I know some of you are a die-hard American Flag t-shirt wearing people and that's fine, but if you want to make a fashion statement it can be a little difficult to stand out in a sea of people wearing the stars and stripes. Here is how to wear red, white, and blue in unexpected ways.
1. Florals
A blue or red floral is a great way to be patriotic without blending in with the crowd. Here are a few of my favorites!

2. Bold Red Lips
If you are more of a minimalist when it comes to your wardrobe, you can take it pretty literally like I do and wear a red lip, white shirt, and blue jeans. EASY PEASY.

3. Accessories
I LOVE a good statement earring or necklace. You can do the most with the least if ya hear what I am saying. Wear whatever you want and put on a patriotic colored accessory and you are ready to head out of the door.
