I am so excited for football season I cannot stand it! We are big college football fans, specifically fans of The University of Georgia. I actually went to Virginia Tech but I grew up and Georgia and now live in Georgia. I just really think it's tough comparing SEC and ACC football. I will refrain from getting into the specifics of that because this post is about chicken dip NOT football 🙂 Regardless of the team you rally behind, one of the best part about watching football is the tailgating and the food involved. Can I get an amen? Ms. Ann, the mastermind behind this addicting dip, was gracious enough to let me share her recipe with you! This three ingredient chicken dip is perfect for any tailgate or watching party.
This dip is super easy to make. Start out with softening the 16 oz cream cheese. I have mentioned it before but I love this part cream cheese, part greek yogurt. It has 4 times the protein and half of the fat.
Next, drain the chicken and add it to the bowl.
Then add the full can of Rotel, no draining required.
Give it a little stir and microwave it for a minute and thirt seconds.
Then, give it a good stir and put in back in the microwave for another minute and thirty seconds.
Remove from the microwave then serve with your favorite corn chips!
I have also made this dip with smoked salmon instead of chicken and it is also quite good!
Also, have I mentioned that Sylvie is lactose intolerant? Well she decided to lick the spoon of chicken dip that was in the sink and proceeded to throw up all over the house… The joys of being a cat Mom 🙂
If you think this recipe looks delicious, make sure you share it with your friends with the bottons below!
