Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, whether you are fully committed to wholeheartedly celebrating the holiday or wish it didn’t exist I think there are a few things to think about as the holiday approaches. Before I delve into my favorite Amazon Valentine's Day cards and what I personally choose to make of Valentine’s Day let me give you a little bit of backstory about mine and John’s history with February 14th. John and I met two days before Valentine’s Day. The funny thing is that we have never celebrated the holiday as a couple because the first Valentine’s Day we knew each other was just too soon to acknowledge it. 
In preparation for writing this post, I asked John what he thought about Valentine’s Day as a whole. In typical John fashion, he pretty bluntly stated that if I don’t know that he loves me from him telling me and showing me every day then he’s not doing his job. Point made, brownie points for John 🙂 I completely agree, but would also add there is absolutely nothing wrong with celebrating love and thoughtfulness a little bit extra one day a year.
I always love to send my gal pals and family Valentine’s Day cards because I believe that any day that acknowledges love and friendship should be celebrated! Good old-fashioned mail is something everyone appreciates and honestly makes my day every time I open a card from a friend.
