Vegan Protein Smoothie Recipe

After I workout in the morning I rarely want anything heavy. I love this vegan protein smoothie because I prepare it quickly and drink it while I get ready.

Let me preface this by saying that I am not a vegan.  HOWEVER, I do like to eat a primarily plant based diet and since I have a dairy allergy, vegan is always dairy free. After I workout in the morning I rarely want anything heavy. I love this vegan protein smoothie because I can prepare it quickly and drink it when I get to the office.

My first ingredient is 8oz  my homemade almond milk. I make almond milk at home because it is organic with no additives or preservatives. It's also SO easy to make.

Next, I add 1/2 cup of frozen organic mixed berries and one peeled banana. Following the fruit I add two scoops of my favorite vanilla [earnist_link ref=”ora-plant-based-protein” id=”3730″]Vegan Protein powder[/earnist_link].

After I add the protein, I blend my smoothie in my [earnist_link ref=”ninja-high-speed-blender” id=”3792″]ninja[/earnist_link] for about a minute. When it's finished blending I add mixed berry TOPbit protein food topping.  It is a Vegan food topping that adds 10g of protein and all nine essential amino acids.  That's it!
