This post is done in collaboration with Walmart, thank you for supporting brands that support Moderately High Maintenance.
The holidays are a time for gathering with family and friends and truly one of the most wonderful times of the year. This being said, the Holidays can be a little bit stressful. Whether that’s forgetting a gift or having unexpected guests at a party, around this time of year I’m looking for any and all help I can get! Walmart+ helps me stay worry free. In case you are new to Walmart+ it is a membership whose mission is here to help you save time and money by getting you whatever you need whenever you need it. Here are three ways to make the holidays easier!
1. Meal Prep Fresh High Quality Groceries
One way to make the holidays easier is to prep your groceries ahead of time. Whether you're cooking for a crowd or keeping it small, Walmart+ has unlimited delivery on fresh high quality groceries for all your produce needs ($35 order minimum. Restrictions apply). By shopping ahead of time on the Walmart app you can save time and money you can now use with your friends and family.
Having fresh organic groceries is just the start, my time-saving tip is to prep your ingredients ahead of time. I like to chop all of my vegetables a day or two before I have to start cooking for a party. This simple step saves time and gives me the freedom to handle last minute tasks that always seem to pop up.
2. Have Last Minute Gifts on Hand
One situation that is always awkward during the Holiday season is to not have a gift for someone who brought you one. To avoid this I keep a few wrapped gifts that would work for anyone on hand in my gift closet. This makes it easy to always have something to give. Walmart has a wide variety of gifts, perfect for whoever walks through your door. The key here is to keep your gifts that work for anyone and wrapped! With free shipping through your Walmart+ membership and no minimum you can start ordering those gifts today (Excludes most Marketplace items, location & freight surcharges.)! If you’re looking for gifts under $25 I suggest a Burts Bees Essential gift set, handheld milk frother, or a Starbucks gift set. For gifts under $50 try an Apple AirTag, Starbucks Home Away gift set, or a wireless charging station. If you are looking to add a little more luxury, a few great gifts under $100 include: a SodaStream Fountain or a JBL bluetooth speaker. And don’ t forget about the kids, It’s always a good idea to also have extra goodies such as: a Jenga game, Play-doh, or a Scrabble game on hand for them.
Also why not pass on your key to a stress free holiday by giving a Walmart+ membership card. It’s so easy to keep this gift card on hand and a practical gift everybody will love.

3. Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff
My final advice to make this holiday easier is: Don’t sweat the small stuff. Even if you burn the pie crust or forgot that your cousin has a food allergy, Walmart+ has unlimited free delivery. With a few clicks on the app you can place a delivery for whatever item you need while you keep the party going and it will arrive on your doorstep.
If you have a guest that has a food allergy Walmart+ has a wide variety of allergy-friendly options. My favorite brand is Simple Mills, all of their products are gluten-free and they have delicious vegan, paleo, dairy free, grain free, and plant based options. A few of my favorite products include thealmond flour chocolate chip cookie and chocolate muffin mix. With the quick delivery from Walmart+ you can have these allergy friendly products delivered to your door so that no one has to miss out on their favorite holiday dish.
I hope that these simple tips help you make the most of your holiday season and that you have a wonderful time with your friends and family. To find out the specific benefits offered in your area check out the Walmart+ sign-up page.
