Is there anything cozier than a hot cup of tea on a crisp day? Well maybe, but not many. There is just something about a cup of hot tea that makes everything better even if it's just a boost in morale. My favorite time of day to enjoy a hot cup of tea is in the afternoon for a pick me up or in the evening right before bed.  I drink my Honey Lavender Vanilla Hot Tea every night before bed as part of my relaxation ritual! It's three ingredients and the perfect drink to help you prepare for a good night's rest.

Start with one Bigelow Lavender Chamomile Plus Probiotics tea bag and follow the steeping instructions on the tea bag.

While it's steeping, I'll take this opportunity to share some of the other yummy tea flavors I have recently tried. In addition to the Lavender Chamomile Plus Probiotics, Walmart recently started carrying two other  Bigelow Tea variations all with probiotics: Lemon Ginger with Probiotics and Green Tea with Ginger Plus Probiotics. I have tried all three and they are all so tasty. All three flavors have ingredients like Ganeden-BC30 that help support healthy digestion. After the tea has steeped for the appropriate amount of time, remove the tea bag.

Next, add one teaspoon of vanilla extract and one teaspoon of raw honey.

Ok, sometimes my teaspoon of honey overflows a little bit… but it's supposed to be a super food, right? Next, stir it all together and enjoy the delicious smell of your yummy concoction.

Honey Lavender Vanilla Hot Tea

  • Yield: 1 Cup of Tea
  • Prep Time: 2 Minutes
  • Cook Time: 4 Minutes

Ingredients

  • One Bigelow Lavender Chamomile Plus Probiotics tea bag
  • 6-8 oz boiling water
  • One tsp vanilla extract
  • One tsp raw honey

Instructions

  1. Steep the tea bag in water according to the instructions on the tea bag.

  2. Add Vanilla and Honey

  3. Stir and Enjoy
