Gingham a classic print that is always in style. Honestly when I think gingham it always brings to mind an image of Marianne from Gilligan's Island. You too now, right? But who doesn't love the emulate the classic All-American girl image every once in a while?
Even though gingham can come in any color, I love black and white. I have seen it pop up so many places this season from ultra high-end designers to Walmart and everywhere in between.
All this being said, I found this gem of a midi skirt at the Loft and had to have it!
My people who wear black, lead colorful lives mentality kicked in and I paired it with a simple black tank and black block heels.
You could easily style it with any color top or shoes if you want to get snazzy with it. I also love it with a casual white tank and keds if you really want to go for a Marianne / athleisure look.
