Friday Favorites August 3rd

If you have been hanging around Moderately High Maintenance for awhile you probably know how this works, but for you kind folks who are new welcome we are glad you are here! On Fridays I share a few of my favorite finds in the format: something you'll want, something you need, something to wear, and something to read! Here are my Friday Favorites!

1. Something You'll Want

Under eye mask! I have been using the Dermalogica Stress Positive Eye Lift for the last several weeks and it is AWESOME! I struggle with dark circles and some puffiness in the morning and let me tell you I can FEEL the puffiness going away. I highly recommend it. A few of my other favorites that I have been using from Dermalogica are the Pure Light SPF50 moisturizer, Biolumin- C serum. The Biolumin-C serum really does a great job of  of brightening my skin and giving it a dewy glow.

2. Something You Need

Thrive Membership.  It's no secret that I am a huge fan of Thrive Market. You an read all about the reasons why here. This week I saved $60 on my organic grocery order by shopping through Thrive and had it delivered to my door.  It's hard to beat.

3. Something to Wear

Gingham a classic print that is always in style. Gingham can come in any color, but I love black and white. Here is how I styled a gingham midi skirt!

Gingham!  I LOVE black and white gingham because it is just so versatile.  I think you can dress it up and down. I also think it is a print that transitions well from summer to fall.  I shared several ways to style gingham here and you can shop my favorite pieces below:

4. Something to Read

You Me Everything by Catherine Isaac. I read You Me Everything while I was on vacation in Belize in May.  It's a great novel with more substance than chick lit but still light enough to enjoy on vacation. I loved the twists and turns and really didn't know how it was going to end until the very last chapter.  Truly an enjoyable read, but be ready to cry a little bit.
