Travel Skincare Routine

Before I go on a trip, part of my packing ritual is to hit up my local store to pick up last minute travel skincare routine items. Here is my latest haul!

“This post has been sponsored by Palmer's. All thoughts and opinions are my own.”

I don't know about you but before I go on a trip, part of my packing/ preparation ritual is to hit up my local CVS and pick up any last minute items I may need for my journey. Inevitably, I always leave with way more than I intended to buy. At this point, I have just come to expect it. What I usually end up buying are fun new items to add to my travel beauty routine. There is just something about being in a hotel room, cozied up in one of their robes with room service that just makes me want to try a bunch of new beauty products! I can't be the only one who feels that way? This time, I walked away from my CVS with a haul from Palmer's Coconut Oil Formula Facial Collection!

What initially caught my eye is that Palmer's Coconut Oil Formula Facial Collection is free of all of the bad stuff like parabens, mineral oil, sulfates, phthalates, gluten, GMOs and harsh chemicals. I have been on a mission to clear my body of chemicals from the inside out and introduce more natural products into my beauty routine, so this product line was just the ticket! Right now, they are running a great deal if you would like to try these products for yourself! The offer is $2 off at your local CVS until March 30th!

The first product that I was really excited to try (so much so that I couldn't even wait for my trip) was Palmer’s Coconut Oil Formula Coconut Monoï Facial Cleansing Balm.

I was very curious about what the product would feel like on my skin because I am typically a traditional gel cleanser type of girl. Let me tell you friends, I was SO pleasantly surprised because it transformed into a rich, creamy facial cleanser and removed all of my makeup! According to the packaging, it also removes surface bacteria so that the skin is detoxified naturally. Since I don't typically take a microscope to my face, I'll have to take their word on that one 🙂

I will say that it really left my skin feeling hydrated, not stripped and tight like a lot of other cleansers. This will be perfect for days where air travel is a must!

The second product that I didn't have enough patience to wait until my trip to try was the Palmer’s Coconut Oil Formula Coconut Monoi Luminous Hydration Facial Oil.

I added facial oils into my skin routine about two years ago, and now I would never want to go without it. I recently ran out of another product and was very excited to try Palmer's version because it combines Fair Trade Extra Virgin Coconut Oil + 9 other skin nourishing oils to boost hydration. I have used regular coconut oil in the past, but my main complaint is that it is solid at the room temperature in my house. Palmer’s Coconut Oil Formula Coconut Monoi Luminous Hydration Facial Oil stays in the form of an oil, is non-greasy, and absorbs quickly into the skin. My skin looked luminous and felt hydrated all day long after using the facial oil!

After doing a little bit more research on raw coconut oil, it is a product you can feel good about using. The new Coconut Oil Formula Facial Collection is cruelty-free and never tested on animals. It is also ethically and sustainably sourced. This means that they can trace the coconut all the way from harvest until you pick it up in product form at CVS. Each time you purchase Palmer's Coconut Oil Formula Facial Collection, you can know that your purchase helps support local programs that aid in education, potable water, and fair trade agricultural good practices. Now that's a product I can stand behind.

All in all, I would call my haul a complete success! I cannot wait to incorporate all of the products into my travel routine when I head out on my trip later this week. I have them all packed in my suitcase and ready for the perfect hotel night in with my robe and room service!
