One fashion philosophy that I live by is versatility. By the end of this year I will have spent over 150 nights traveling for work and for fun. Thats about 41% of my life lived out of a suitcase. It is VERY rare that I ever buy a piece that I cannot style for day and for night.
The best way I have found to transition my clothing is by what accessories I style with each outfit. It's a heck of a lot easier to pack 10 different pieces of jewelry than 10 different shirts. #JustSayin
I HATE overpacking so I stick with versatile clothing pieces within my personal brand. I will talk more about finding your personal brand later this week, but for me that means black accents with subdued colors and red accents.
I only pack clothing pieces that I can easily up level with just change from a flat to a heel and add jewelry to transition from day to night.
I love the Wisten Bracelet and Earrings. I wear the bracelet all of the time to work during the day because the small feather detail adds a bit of pizazz to even an all black ensemble. I do not typically wear the earrings to the office because they are just a bit extra for my work day style.
However, the statement earrings are one of my favorite ways to take a look from day to night and they take up about two inches of suitcase space, SCORE!
