Like many people during the pandemic, I became very interested in becoming more self-reliant.  I have always been interested in growing my own food, but unfortunately, I have a knack for killing plants. I am great at keeping animals alive, but plants are just a totally different story.  Cue the Lettuce Grow, the EASIEST way to grow your own food that I have found. Here are all of the ins and outs of an easy hydroponic garden.

Easy Hydroponic Garden

The Lettuce Grow farmstand is a self-watering, self-fertilizing hydroponic garden. The Farmstand is made from ocean-bound plastic and is available in 5 sizes. I have the 36 plant version and this is what it looks like empty.

You buy your seedlings directly from Lettuce Grow and can choose from 200+ greens, veggies, fruits, and herbs. They are pre-sprouted Pesticide-free, non-GMO, pre-grown plants that will have you harvesting 3 weeks early and help ensure your success. Seedlings are delivered in recyclable eco-conscious packaging and shipping tiny seedlings in the mail reduces emissions by 95%.  You plan your harvest by selecting from a variety of seasonally, curated seedlings.

After you fill your farmstand with your seasonally selected seedlings, the Lettuce Grow app shows you how to care for your seedlings in 5 minutes a week and even sends you a reminder.

Maintenance takes five minutes once a week. All you do is refill the water, test the pH, then add the nutrients based on the size of your farmstand.

This is what the farmstand looks like after about three weeks after planting.

You can absolutely start harvesting at the 3-week mark, but I like to wait until about 5 weeks when it is fully ready.
