Ok, so I have been a loyal Birchbox subscriber for almost five years. I love getting the little box in the mail of my samples. I find so many of the products that I love from their subscription service. Don't get me wrong, I still love Birchbox but I was recently introduced to Boxy Charm and I am an instant convert! Here's the deal, you spend a little bit more on each box but you get five FULL-SIZED products. You read that right, FULL-SIZED! So, instead of paying $10 for five sample sizes from Birchbox, I am paying $21 for five high-end, full sized products from Boxy Charm. My Boxy Charm value this month was $152. Say it with me, “I saved SOOOO MUCH money!!” For this reason alone, Boxycharm beats Birchbox in my opinion.

1. Ofra Professional Make-Up Palette ($59)
This OFRA palette came with six different shimmer and matte shadows. I absolutely love these shadows and on first use they apply well and have good pigmentation. Each shadow typically retails for $10 so this was a big score in the box! I also love how I have room to add more to the magnetized palette.
2. Aloette Time Repair Serum ($48)
I just recently started adding serum to my morning and evening routine because I am starting to see those pesky little wrinkles. You typically apply a serum after toning and before moisturizing. This Aloette serum has alpha and beta hydroxy acids to smooth away dead skin cells and reveal more youthful skin. Sign. Me. Up.
3. Dirty Little Secret Velvet Matte Liquid Lipstick ($10)
This red is a very very bright red for and too much of a statement for my everyday look. I think it will be perfect for an evening look and I cannot wait to try it.
4. Makeup Eraser AmpliMascara ($23)
AmpliMascara is a mascara serum, meaning apply it before mascara. This serum gives bolder, fuller lashes for a dramatic look! SO FUN!
5. Tatcha Petal Fresh Original Aburatorigami ($12)
So I think most of us have heard of oil blotting sheets before, but these tatcha aburatorigami sheets are made of 100% natural abaca leaf and gold flecks. I tried them and it left my shiny after work face looking as fresh as it did first thing in the morning. These things work, and I am so glad that Boxy Charm gave me an entire 30 sheet pack to use!
